The primary purpose of the Activity Director position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines to assure that an on-going program of activities is designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.

- Enjoy assisting with recreational activities for a variety of people
This position will:
- Work to improve guest involvement – the more the merrier!
- Provide an aspect of fun & entertainment for guests during their stay
- Help guest feel comfortable and welcome by creating opportunities for them to interact with each other and build friendships
- Arrange and obtain services from outside performers and agencies.
- Coordinates activities with other departments and disciplines.
- Plan and prep for special facility events.
$15.00 - $19.00 /hr depending on experience.

North Houston Transitional Care is a new facility in North Houston, TX. The facility is licensed for 70 Medicare only beds. We are looking for someone who is interested in making this facility the premier transitional care facility in Houston that offers shorty stay rehabilitation for guests that need therapy services after a joint replacement, surgery, or need wound treatment, IV therapy and other assistance to return home quickly. There are resort style amenities offered such as a salon, room service, fine dining, and many others - while being taken care of by a professional medical staff.
