Position Summary:
Responsible for arranging, executing and supervising all indoor and outdoor guest activity games/functions, providing privacy and safety at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge.
Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should perform the following essential functions of the position:
- Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day
- Be familiar with all park services/features, lodge amenities and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
- Process miscellaneous charges
- Maintain Library of Resources
- Set up/close activities station
- Assist with maps and directions
- Maintain flags, raise and lower according to procedure times
- Log prizes, which are given out
- Stock, display and loan/rent recreational equipment
- Reserve sporting activities, when requested
- Coordinate tournaments/games
- Distribute activities sheets
