Activities Assistant

```Duties```
- Assist in planning and implementing a variety of activities for senior residents in an assisted living facility
- Provide support and assistance to residents during activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment
- Engage residents in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to promote physical and mental well-being
- Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, such as dressing, grooming, and eating
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a stimulating and engaging environment for residents
- Maintain documentation of resident participation and progress in activities

```Skills```
- Experience or knowledge in senior care, assisted living, dementia care, or memory care is preferred
- Strong caregiving skills with the ability to provide compassionate care to seniors
- Knowledge of aging issues and the ability to provide counseling or support to residents as needed
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Ability to plan and organize events or activities that cater to the interests and abilities of seniors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
