Thomasville Health and Rehab is looking to add an Activities Assistant to our team!
Essential Job Functions:
Assist with the conduct of patient social activities such as parties, games. and special events; weekends and holidays.
Assist the activities director in planning, organizing, and implementing various activities.
Meet resident needs and interests, taking into account the abilities and physical limitations of each individual resident.
Participation in the resident's plan of care and documents residents specific interests and participation.
Working with volunteer staff to ensure smooth operations of activities programs.
Engage residents with a variety of activites and encourage participation.
Requirements
HS diploma
Some College preferred
Experience working with the elderly and memory care patients
LTC skilled nursing facility experience preferred
Point Click Care experience preferred
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
