Activation Team Freelance Makeup Artist

Express your passion for Makeup Artistry and connecting with a myriad of people as a member of an extension of The Sparkle Bar. Apply your skills by offering an exceptional experience on-location, at events, corporate offices, and private residences with touch-up makeup which can include cheeks, lips, and subtle eye makeup, as well as creative embellishments/glitter and lash application.

The Sparkle Bar provides all of the makeup, skincare and cosmetic products, Artists are only responsible for bringing their clean and sanitized professional brushes. Compensation includes hourly wages as well as built-in “On-location” commission and tips, in addition to client tips. Artist daily rates often range between $30-$50/hr with commission and tips.

Freelance Artists have access to a flexible schedule by accepting invitations to work various events once attending official The Sparkle Bar informational meetings to learn more about the business and activation event requirements. In addition to working events, Activation Team members also have access to “Open Gym” hours to practice looks and skills.

Receive an accelerated opportunity to train for a part-time position with the Artist in Residence team and service clients in-studio with ultra-glam looks and client lessons which also includes 64 hours of paid training.
