Job Summary
AEI is currently seeking a mid-level engineer with a minimum of 4 years' experience in site/civil design. This individual will help lead the growth of our Civil Engineering practice in our Georgia office along with leading the project design, client communication, and management on a wide range of large and small projects. They will assist in managing design technicians, engineering interns and other support staff to help grow the AEI brand and expertise within the region. Applicant must be responsible, highly motivated and a detail-oriented individual. This position provides a motivated individual willing to grow with the changing skills and technology required of an engineer and opportunity for advancement in a robust region.
Responsibilities and Duties
- May design and develop project plans and criteria for a variety of site/civil projects.
- Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of the engineering
- Prepares for approval scopes, budgets and schedules for assignments
- Actively involved with clients and business development
Qualifications and Skills
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering
- FE or PE License in Georgia
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the delivery of projects for government agencies, and local municipalities.
- Microstation and/or AutoCAD product proficiency
