About the Role:

Reporting to the Manager, System Development within Accreditation Services. The Accreditation Operations Intern contributes to improving the accreditation/certification record keeping through coordinated electronic record audits including trending errors. Accreditation Operations Intern is responsible for meticulous reviewing and organizing of documents, ensuring data and file accuracy, and identifying discrepancies. AS Intern collaborates with team members to maintain a systematic record-keeping process, contributing to the improvement of data management procedures within the department. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in records management and organizational efficiency. Additionally, this position may be assigned additional administrative tasks to support the Account Management activities, as needed. This role requires a strong eye for detail, collaboration, data analysis, project management, and communication skills.

  • Ensures compliance with established internal control procedures by examining electronic records, reports, operating processes, and documentation.

  • Prepares creation of electronic records for legacy migrated data.

  • Proactively addresses missing documents by retrieving originals and implementing replacements.

  • Prepares special audit and control report by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operating information and trends.

  • Communicates audit findings with auditees to enhance data/record accuracy, contribute insights for process improvement and actively engage in maintaining a high standard of record integrity.

  • Develop and maintain timeline/action plans on assigned audit project and adhere to deadlines and managing day-to-day record audit logs Projects will require strong attention to detail, review of documents, and complete tracking logs to inform error rates department wise.

  • This role offers an opportunity to develop analytical skills, enhance attention to detail, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization’s data management within electronic document storage folders.

  • Other Duties: time permitting, participate in analysis of audit trends and may be assigned additional administrative tasks to support the Account Management activities, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications and Job‐specific Competencies Required:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Operations Management, Business or related majors
  • Rising Junior (3Y) or Senior (4Y)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Track record of performing well in school course work
  • Ability to work independently and receptive to supervision; effective team player
  • Excellent Communicator (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Microsoft Office Proficient (i.e., WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint)
