Accounts Receivable Specialist

Delta Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking to hire an Accounts Receivable Specialist to assist in cleaning up our A/R for our medical billing department in Manila, AR.

Responsibilities:
- Process and record Accounts Receivable transactions in accordance with established procedures and policies

-Follow-up on denied claims in a timely manner
- Monitor customer accounts for timely payment and follow up on past due balances
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable sub-ledger to general ledger on a monthly basis
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the accounting system
- Provide excellent customer service and phone etiquette when communicating with customers regarding their accounts

Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Knowledge of governmental accounting principles and regulations (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Experience in behavioral health billing or healthcare industry (preferred)
- Ability to analyze credit information and make informed decisions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
