Accounts Receivable Lead

Robert Half has partnered with a lead player in the hospitality industry, renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences. As they continue to expand our operations, they are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have specific experience with LMS and a strong background in Accounts Receivable within the hospitality sector.

Responsibilities:

As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Accounts Receivable process, with a focus on hospitality operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Processing and reconciling guest invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinating with various departments to ensure proper documentation and billing procedures.
• Monitoring Accounts Receivable aging and following up on overdue accounts.
• Collaborating with the finance team to resolve payment discrepancies and disputes.
• Utilizing and maintaining the Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate employee training on billing and invoicing processes.
• Generating reports and analysis related to Accounts Receivable performance.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

• Adjusting Journal Entries, Accounts Receivable (AR), AS400, BlackLine, Stratton Warren, Aging Reports, Bank Reconciliations, Cash Applications, Chargebacks, Month End Close, Microsoft Excel, Lodging ExpensesProven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and experience in training employees on relevant financial processes.
• Strong understanding of hospitality billing procedures and industry-specific regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
