As we continue to grow throughout North America, we continue to develop and improve the presence and awareness of our brand. As a result, we are hiring dedicated Accounts Receivable/Credit Specialist who will be responsible for the resolution of current and past due balances, and credit granting process within an assigned territory. This includes the consistent application of a credit policy, credit review of existing customers, and assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain internal and external customer relationships through superior communication and customer service skills.
- Resolve current and past due accounts in a highly professional manner and with a best in class customer service approach with both verbal and written communication.
- Provide updates on A/R integrity to the Senior Credit Manager and other internal stakeholders.
- A/R analysis and monitoring.
- Make credit decisions at account and order level based on established parameters.
- Answer and return customer calls and emails regarding their accounts, make necessary adjustments and payments.
- Research and resolve incoming inquiries relative to Accounts Receivable, billing and collections.
- Make suggestions for process improvements.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate verbally and in writing in a clear and professional manner with internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workflow.
- Experience in business to business Accounts Receivable is desired.
- Experience in credit/risk management is a plus.
- Proficient on Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SAP operating system a plus.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates’ or Bachelor’s degree in finance related area preferred.
- At least one year related experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
