Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a Southeastern regional company with manufacturing, finance, real estate, and retail operations. The position is full-time onsite in Flowood.

Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end invoice processing with efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate accurate and timely payments using electronic systems.
• Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Keep financial records organized and up-to-date, supporting audits and financial reporting.
• Actively contribute to the improvement of Accounts Payable processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Open to recent junior college graduates; training will be provided.
• 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team oriented environment.
• Stable work history

Compensation:

• $48-55K
