“Boiler Plate Stuff”: The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for the documentation, maintenance, and adherence of the Accounts Payable standard operating procedures while mentoring and providing leadership to the Full Cycle Invoice Accounts Payable team. This is a hands-on role including administration and processing of vendor W-9’s, deposits, invoices, credits, and payments in the ERP system. Reviewing P&L’s to identify errors, prepare and record month-end journal entries as well as researching vendor related inquiries and reconciling vendor statements.
Accounts Payable Manager Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related major is highly preferred. Equivalent education and/or work experience required.
- 5+ years of experience as an Accounts Payable Manager or Senior / Lead Accounts Payable Specialist, supervising and/or managing directly Accounts Payable teams.
- Hands on Accounts Payable experience in a high volume, Full Cycle Invoicing capacity including Purchase Order Systems and 3-Way matching.
- Accounts Payable experience within a manufacturing and/or service repair environment is HIGHLY DESIRED!
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting system.
- Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
- ERP experience.
- ERP implementation experience and NetSuite experience are a PLUS.
- Must be able to work onsite in Charlotte, NC 28273.
