The Accounts Payable Assistant role will support the AP Team within the Accounting Department. This role is responsible for accurately processing timely payments to our business partners. This role will also focus on maintaining positive work relationships with our suppliers, while safeguarding the financial resources of the company.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Location: Ephrata, PA (onsite)

- Accurately enter vendor invoices
- Ensure correct approval, coding and matching of invoices/receipts
- Process check requests and expense reports
- Process, review, and reconcile credit card payments
- Schedule and prepare payments by monitoring discount opportunities and payment terms
- Analyze, research, and resolve payment issues and pricing discrepancies
- Maintain large number of vendor records while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling month statements and related transactions in a timely manner
- Request and confirm new Supplier/Carrier setups
- Communicate with internal and external clients
- Provide additional administrative support as needed
What you bring
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency required
- Proficient data entry skills and attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite required, JD Edwards experience a plus
- Must have ERP experience (ideally JDE)
- Adequate organizational and analytical skills
- Proficient interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work well independently and with a team
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
