Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client’s finance department during a temporary assignment. The Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for handling Accounts Payable tasks with a focus on utilizing Yardi software. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relations, and supporting financial operations. The client is on a hybrid schedule (2 days in office and 3 days remote).

Key Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable transactions accurately and efficiently using Yardi software.
- Verify, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
- Reconcile discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Provide support to the finance team as needed.
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a commercial real estate setting.
- Proficiency in using Yardi software is required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines.
- Prior experience with temporary assignments is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable.
Duration: This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of 6-8 months to support our team during a period of increased workload.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
