As Accounts Manager, you are responsible for supporting the General Manager in many aspects of property operations, rent collection, customer service, accounts payable, reporting, and more. Through these actions, you will strive to optimize the community’s financial performance and create an excellent living experience for our residents.
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain a positive, productive relationship with residents, clients, and team members
- Successfully support a team of office, leasing, and maintenance professionals
- Execute a leasing plan and provide recommendations to drive revenue growth
- Engage, contract, and coordinate vendors, process invoices, and maintain community files and records
- Assist in oversight of rent collection and assist with the management of resident relations
- Analyze monthly financial statements with a focus on operating variances from budget
- Assist with the compliance with codes, regulations, and governmental agencies
Qualifications Include:
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in property operations preferred (student housing background preferred)
- Strong leasing and marketing skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage a financial plan and analyze monthly financial statements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel and property management software (experience with Entrata a plus)
- Experience with student housing turnover and/or renovation projects preferred
