Accounting Specialist

KC & Company, P.C., an established local CPA firm, has an opening for a full-time Accounting Specialist. We are looking for a detailed-oriented, reliable, highly organized individual with great communication skills to join our team.

Job Duties include:

• Accounts Payable
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
• Journal entry in general ledger
• Prepare property and sales tax filings in various states
• Maintain financial records and documents in electronic form

The ideal candidates must possess:

• Accounting Degree or
• Proven accounting experience of 3-5 years
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Experience working in QuickBooks Desktop
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Experience with Bill.com a plus
• Be a quick learner
• Self motivated and work well with a team and with clients
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping

Compensation benefits package is negotiable depending on level of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
