Accounting Mgr Deputy-Int'l Bank-Spanish Speaker-Temp to Hire

Well established International Bank seeks, highly motivated Accounting professional, to assume the following key duties:

--Preparation and/or Review of several regulatory reports. Perform daily review of system generated balance sheet.

--Provide financial information to external auditors and to tax consultants.

--Supervise the work of the Accounting Assistant, and be a backup to the Accounting Manager when absent.

--Monitor and supervise the daily routines of the department to meet deadlines.

--Supervise the preparation of FR2900, FR29150Q, and Asstes & Liabilities daily maintenance.

--Oversee the the reconciliation of Nostro accounts.

--Review interelated departmental accounts.and Official Checks Reconcilaitions.

--Perform analysis of variations in financial data to be reported to the Controller.

--Obtain financial information as required by external tax consultants for annual tax returns

--Prepare FIEC019 and FIEC002 Call Report.

--Prepare other regulatory reports and surveys as needed.

--Prepare Balance sheet budget control to be reported to Head Corporate Office.

--Perform reviews of daily G/L balances.

--This is a temp to Hire on-site position.

--Very high visibility role.

Required Experience:

--The right candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting.

--Excellent communication and employee interface skills.

--You should be a fluent Spanish speaker.

--Requires 5+ years of professional experience.

--The successful candidate will have International of Domestic Banking experience.

--A good knowledge of various Banking regulations.

--This is a high priority position that needs to be filled ASAP.
