Form of work DESCRIPTION:
Prepares or oversees preparation of financial, statistical and accounting for the company and construction management projects.
Oversees and evaluates current accounting procedures and coordinates changes as needed.
Assists with the creation or upgrade of data processing systems.
Works with auditors/examiners on the year-end and comprehensive audits.
Assists in inputting and maintaining construction management projects in the accounting system.
Assist in ensuring that the books and general ledger accounts are always in balance and current.
Develops recommendations for cost efficiencies and enhancements to processes by monitoring trends in operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Detail oriented
Accounting and computer background
Proficient with Ajera software
Working knowledge of FAR rules, invoicing, timesheet review, payroll
Comfortable with software applications
Knowledge of how construction projects are implemented and input into system
Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field)
Five to eight years of similar or related experience
