The Accounting Manager-PeopleSoft FSCM Lead reports to the Information Systems Manager and will serve as a PeopleSoft Subject Matter Expert with knowledge of the Accounting Division's ERP system reporting needs for Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. Considerable knowledge of Peoplesoft FSCM module integration, knowledge of principles and practices of general ledger design and maintenance, PeopleSoft reporting, PeopleSoft query development, fixed asset accounting, grants accounting, budget control and reporting, contract reporting, and eProcurement are desired. This position is critical in developing and improving the Peoplesoft functionality for the County, in addition to assisting with on-going module implementations, maintenance, and reporting updates.
The Accounting Manager-PeopleSoft FSCM Lead will actively participate in the implementation and integration tasks for remaining module Rollout 2 (Treasury Management) in coordination with consultants, process owners, and ERP project management. The Accounting Manager- PeopleSoft FSCM Lead will provide design input to modifications of the current PeopleSoft configuration in respect to retaining and enhancing report functionality while minimizing manual maintenance requirements including journal entry creation
General Description
Supervises the activities of professional and clerical staff in the management of the accounting and financial reporting sections in the Finance Division.
Works under administrative supervision, developing and implementing programs within organizational policies and reports major activities to executive level administrators through conferences and reports.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, computer science, public or business administration, or related field.
Requires four (4) years' experience in planning, managing, and implementing information system solutions or closely related experience including four (4) years supervisory experience.

- Assist in the development, modification, and validation of PeopleSoft Reports and Queries.
- Provide analytical review of the functionality of PeopleSoft module configurations, features, and report modifications in respect to optimizing report financial reporting capability while minimizing journal entry creation and manual postings.
- Provide reporting and payment processing impact assessment of ERP actual and proposed modifications to PeopleSoft configurations effecting ledgers, reports, and payment processing.
- Review system documentation and configuration issues related to 3rd party application interfaces.
- Contribute to functional design of module configurations or modifications.
- Assist the Change Management Team in the development of communications, training materials and presentations related to the Accounting System.
