Job Summary: The Accounting Manager of Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial operations of our Residential, Commercial Property Management and Hospitality sectors. This position involves supervising accounting staff, ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing internal controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support business objectives. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our projects and the growth of our company.
Job Responsibilities: including but not limited to

• Oversee, review the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements and flux analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff, providing guidance, training and performance feedback.
• Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and adherence to internal controls.
• Reviewing account reconciliations and other accounting documents, providing support to accounting staff in handling complex journal entries needed for special transactions.
• Delegate tasks effectively, set priorities, and ensure the team meets deadlines and objectives.
• Conduct financial analysis to assess the company's financial health, profitability, and performance.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and risks and make recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analysis as requested by management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, CPA certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on financial review and analysis.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in the real estate development industry, private equity investments, specialized in Hospitality, Property Management Operations or related sectors is preferred.
• Proficiency in Property Management accounting software, Yardi experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills to perform complex calculations and lookups within large datasets.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
