Primary Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
 

·       Perform the monthly and quarterly accounting close process and continuously improve processes to scale with the organization.

·       Oversee expense tracking as well as the procure-to-pay process.

·       Manage general ledger and review monthly and quarterly reconciliations.

·       Provide support and analysis in the preparation of management presentations.

·       Identify and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the day-to-day operations as well as the close process.

·        Recommend and implement best practices regarding accounting policies and procedures.

·       Build relationships cross-functionally to foster collaboration both inside and outside of the finance and accounting teams.

Preferred Experience of the Accounting Manager :
     • BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
     • Strong understanding of GAAP
     • 4+ years of work experience in the accounting field
     • Experience overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable department
     • Experience in people management
     • Audit experience and working with private equity-backed companies is a plus
