LOCATION: Fresno, CA (CARTS)
SALARY: $95,000.00 to $125,000.00/ annually

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Oversee all financial and accounting activities. Position is responsible for budget preparation, month end close, financial analysis, & financial reporting. Additionally, this position will assist with insurance policies, in accordance with company and regulatory agencies.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works closely with the Controller on a daily basis to ensure accounting deadlines are met.
- Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Oversee and assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial statements; assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable.
- Manage full cycle AP and AR.
- Analyze financial statement(s) to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare, review, post, and maintain appropriate ledger entries and GL system.
- Participate in the development of and support the company's strategic plans.
- Identify potential cash flow problems and financial irregularities.
- Oversee fixed assets and CAPEX spending.
- Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff.
- Assist in implementing inventory systems and practices.
- Reconcile Bank and all Balance Sheet accounts.
- Ensure the security and proper handling of financial business transactions.
- Liaise between insurance broker and banks to ensure strong working relationships between partners and companies.
- Other special projects, implementations, and tasks as directed by the Controller.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
- Experience in CAPEX, CIP, fixed assets, and inventory valuation
- Datamining skills to manage and process large amounts of data.
- Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex problems and provide cost-effective solutions.
- Expert knowledge of ledgers, g/l and financial statement preparation.
