- Work closely and share with CFO Coolley the list of following duties to ensure that federal and state regulatory reports, tax returns and third-party reports of Company's are completed timely. In the short term, learn and observe holding company and bank operations.
- Perform accounting functions of Client's that include paying bills, recording deposits, recording transactions, preparing journal entries and closing the general ledger on at least a quarterly basis.
- Prepare monthly and annual intercompany bills between Company and subsidiaries.
- Prepare reports required by the Federal Reserve Bank and ensuring the reports are filed timely.
- Prepare work papers for external auditors, tax preparers and examiners and work closely with them to complete each project.
- Perform internal audits and assist in the preparation and review of Audit Tracking Reports.
- Prepare federal and state income tax estimates.
- Prepare the annual Vendor Management Review.
- Analyze the financial information for Company's and the banks.
- Prepare the budget for the Company
- Participate in risk management and compliance for the Company and the banks.
- Perform special projects as requested, such as assisting in asset/liability management, customer profitability and ratio analysis.
- Complete training is required by management.
- Complies with all policies and regulations.
- Any other duties as might be assigned to you.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Must have a CPA certification
- Must be organized, analytical, and detail-oriented.
- We use Prologue, FiServe, and Quick books software.
- Must be extremely proficient in Excel and Word.
- CPA designation required
