Accounting Manager

Target Salary for Role: $90,000.00

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team. Our client has seen exponential growth in the past year and is expecting even greater expansion over the next couple of years.

As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, managing a team of accountants, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.

Additional Key Skills:

• Hands-on role reporting to the VP of Finance

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting department and a team of 3 Accountants

• Collaborate with finance and accounting team as well as other departments to improve financial processes and controls
• Assist with a transition to mirror public accounting/finance practices

Requirements

Education and Certification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CMA certification preferred

Experience:

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• MUST have exposure to Manufacturing settings
• Exposure to public accounting preferred
