About the Role:
As an intern at Perpay, your main responsibility is to learn. We understand the value of mentorship and offer students an opportunity to gain real work experience before graduation. In the 10-12 weeks we'll be together, you will play a crucial role in various accounting activities and gain hands-on experience in both accounting with some overlap in finance. This internship is ideal for college juniors or seniors majoring in accounting who are eager to apply their skills in a dynamic and growing financial technology environment. All while developing the skills to succeed in a fast-paced tech start-up environment and experiencing and contributing to our unique culture.

Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day and monthly accounting activities, including bank reconciliations and associated reporting
- Contribute to the maintenance of the general ledger
- Assist in various projects and analyses presented by the Accounting and Finance Team
- Build effective communications with internal and external stakeholders, including Perpay Department Heads and vendors
- Engage in process improvement efforts to enhance financial planning and budget management procedures for efficiency and accuracy
What You'll Bring:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, across all organizational levels
- Startup and results-driven mentality, demonstrating a willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong project management capabilities
- Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to thrive in an evolving environment
- Organized, attentive, and focused on details
- Positive, optimistic, and high-energy with a confident attitude
- Enthusiastic about continuous growth and development.
