Summer Accounting/Finance Intern
Requirements: Junior or Senior preferred
Position: Accounting/Finance Intern
Pay: $25 hourly
Duration: 7-8 Weeks during Summer 2023 from Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm.
Hybrid working environment. Location of Company in NYC around Midtown
Duties:

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements - looking for any discrepancies & able to reconcile statements
  • Trial balance, Profit & Loss, General Ledger, Income Statements, etc.
• Assist with annual budget & forecast. Will be able to communicate with other departments and learn the background of HLZAE.
• Assist HLZAE's CFO, Financial Analyst, AR & AP department when necessary
• Organizing and filing Bank Statements
• Working closely with AR department for cash collections and analyze aging invoices & data

• Rising Junior or Senior preferred with an accounting and/or finance background - priority given to those with accounting background
• Knowledge of accounting basics / understanding of financial principles
• Strong organizational & communication skills
• A willingness to learn.
• Intermediate level with Microsoft (Word & Excel)
