Accounting Intern

We are seeking an accountant intern with a long-term interest in building a career in accounting. The successful candidate will assist our accounting team in various tasks related to Monthly close, AP and AR and also assist in our budgeting and reporting process where required. This is a great opportunity to get a hands-on learning experience and use Excel and various reporting applications and work with global teams and get exposure to working closely with FP&A leader. With the right attitude and performance this role could eventually translate into a full-time accountant role.

 

Note: The position has the potential for a full-time opportunity in the near future. This position reports to the Bellevue, WA office.

Pay range: $22-$25/hour

You will:

• Reconcile the company's statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Initiating transactions and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
• Prepare and verify daily reports
• Compile and distribute monthly reports
• Perform reconciliation of transactions
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned 

Who we are looking for:

• Must be a recent graduate or in the process of completing a bachelor's degree in accounting
• Must know their debits and credits and understand JE's
• Long term interest in accounting is a must
• Basic Knowledge of different finance software programs
• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills to build strong interpersonal relationships
• Have strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well on a team and independently
• Must have a high sense of rigor to prevent any form of mistake that may occur in the process of documenting financial information
• Handle confidential information sensitively
