We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to cover a Maternity Leave.
The incumbent will be responsible for performing various duties in ensure the Finance Team has the resources necessary to maximize and claim all government awards and grants in an effective manner; including managing the documentation requirements and invoice process for all applicable grants, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and records.
The position will work with the WIOA required documentation and invoices.
Requirements:
Education/Experience
An Associate’s Degree in Accounting or other business field is preferred
2+ years of experience in a clerical/clerk role within a finance/accounting function, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Highly motivated, self-starter willing to meet strict deadlines and time constraints.
Ability to communicate both orally and in written form to multiple departments and levels of the organization
Ability to learn new software programs easily and quickly
Ability to facilitate team efforts on multiple projects.
Strong PC skills with an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Bilingual
Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
