Accounting Cash Clerk

Lifetime Products Inc., is seeking a Cash Clerk to join our Accounting team.

The Accounting Cash Clerk is responsible for reconciling incoming bank deposits and customer payments. Must be able to handle various office duties with some guidance. Having a positive attitude and working well with other team members is imperative for success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):

• Be able to read and understand shipping documents
• Read and understand purchase orders & vendor agreements
• Knowledgeable in sales allowances & deduction research
• Read and understand bank reporting & deposit information
• Be able to work well with others in a team setting when needed
• Self-motivated
• Be able to work within deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Three to six months related experience and/or training in Accounts Receivable; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer knowledge, ten key, knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook & Microsoft Dynamics AX
• Problem solving and decision making abilities.
• Must be self-motivated and work well with others in a team setting.
• Excellent attendance.
• Overtime flexibility during peak seasons.
• Must be able to pass a background check
