SalaryThe Staff Accountant role will be responsible for handling the full cycle of Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable. This position will be exposed to many different areas of accounting such as G/L, AP, AR, etc. The ideal candidate for this position should have basic knowledge of US GAAP, problem solving skills, and be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be self-motivated, attentive to detail, a fast learner, and comfortable with learning new technology. This position will report directly to the Controller at Exxact.
Job Responsibilities
Full cycle of Accounts Payable including: PO matching, billing/processing invoices in Tipalti or NetSuite
Communicate with Tipalti support team to resolve any discrepancies and software improvement
Set up new vendor in Tipalti and review W-9
Preform shipping analysis and uploading shipping fees to associated invoices
Dispute shipping charge or duty tax with shipping carriers
Perform new customer credit checks
Maintain excellent accounting records and filing
Assist with sales and use tax audit
Perform physical inventory count and work with Warehouse to reconcile inventory discrepancies
Assist with various projects that are assigned to the Accounting Department when requested
Ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed for management team
Qualifications and Skills
Highly organized with strong prioritization skills
Ability to effectively communicate and interact with various departments
Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail, initiative, problem-solving and ability to work independently
Have strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Eager to learn new technology and software
Education and Experience
Associates or bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Basic ERP system experience preferred
NetSuite/Tipalti experience is a plus
1-2 years of accounting experience

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
