Duryea & Edwards CPAs is looking to hire an Accounting Manager to be in charge of our Accounting Department.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
- Compute and record numerical data
- Check the accuracy of business transactions
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Determine the required journal entries required and post journals
- Oversee other bookkeepers and data specialists to ensure the accuracy of client accounting
- Manage the process of finalizing and delivering accounting reports to clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must be proficient in Quickbooks online and Desktop
- Some tax training would be a plus
- Accounting or equivalent degree is required
