Accounting- Ap/Billing Specialist

CRS Engineers (civil engineering firm) is seeking an individual to join our accounting team as an Accounts Payable/Billing Specialist. CRS Engineers is a multi-office and multi-disciplined engineering firm that is 50+ professionals strong.  This position is for an individual with the drive to work in a fast-paced environment as well as the disposition to interact with clientele and Project Managers in a professional manner. 

About the Opportunity 

Seeking a skilled individual for a full-time position which will be performed in either our Logan or Taylorsviile office. Work schedule can be discussed. Performs general accounting responsibilities, which will include client invoicing, accounts payable, and other accounting tasks as assigned.

Specific tasks associated with this position may include the following: 

• Working together with Project Managers to complete accurate and timely invoicing from our Deltek Ajera ERP system.
• Setting up new projects in the accounting system.
• Receiving approvals from Project Managers on accounts payable invoices and entering into the accounting system.

• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounts figures and financial data
• Data entry skills along with excellent critical thinking skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated skill in maintaining confidentiality

• Able to handle multiple assignments with organization and efficiency 
• Interpersonal Skills – Due to the diverse roles and personalities within the organization, the incumbent must work effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
• Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills are important in this role. Must be comfortable communicating with a variety of audiences within the firm and potential clients and vendors.

Experience and Qualifications for Success

Accounting-related experience preferred. Must be detailed oriented and proficient with Microsoft Office products (Windows, Word, Excel, etc.)  •  Experience in Deltek Ajera software is a plus, but not required. Good spelling and grammar are needed.

Works under the direction of the Controller. This position can be located either in our Taylorsville or Logan, UT office.  Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to respond to the needs of several people all at once.  Should provide assistance to all while recognizing priorities and deadlines.
