Accountant - Treasury Operations

HYBRID

Experience in cash management with a focus on receipts, disbursements, investments, and process improvement in the following areas:

• Daily cash position and reconciliation of transactions; ensuring excess and deficit cash positions

are supported by short-term investments or borrowing.

• Bank research & transaction classification; record and summarize pertinent cash flow information

regarding revenues, deposits, and disbursements.

• Identify and track sources and uses of cash activity - both operating and capital funds to generate

weekly and monthly cash management reports.

• Prepare financial statement reports internal & external stake holders including budget and actual

subsidy requirements plus the status and calculation of interest receivable/payable on

contributions.

• Prepare requests for Federal matching funds, with accompanying documentation for audit

compliance.

• Maintain and reconcile receipts supporting the acceptance of credit/debit transactions, including

research, preparation, and submission of documentation to refute charge backs.

• Perform in-depth analysis of revenues and other related accounts such as subsidies, interest

income, investment balances and payroll for use in the forecasting of funding requirements.

• Development & enforcement of internal controls; preparation of regulatory reporting and audit

responses.

• Experience managing staff; reviewing the work of others to ensure audit & quality standards and

overseeing staff productivity.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Peoplesoft Banking, Cash Management, Treasury, & Accounts Receivable

modules.

• Additional Items:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookup, pivot tables, complex formulas, advanced charting,

graphing) or Power BI.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Treasury related modules.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $39.55 - $65.63 per hour
