Accountant will perform a full range of accounting functions. Major components of this position will be bank reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, variety of journal entries, financial analysis, ad hoc reporting, process accounts payable, cash receipts, and special projects as assigned. The position will be cross trained to cover other accounting department functions as needed. HYBRID Monday and Friday's
Duties:
- Monthly journal entries and financial transaction preparation
- Balance sheet and income statement account review
- Prepare financial statements for MIDC subsidiary/related companies
- Bank reconciliations
- Banking including approval of positive pay, transmit NACHA file
- Periodic filings; 1099s, Sales & Use tax, state and local taxes, licenses and fees
- Preparation of numerous excel reports
- Other duties and task as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 3-5 Years of Accounting Experience
- Net Suites Software Experience Preferred
- Proficient in Excel (Microsoft Suite) Required
- Excellent Analytical Skills
- Detail Oriented
Salary: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
