JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, income reporting and analysis, and assessing variances between projections and actual costs on the P&L.
JOB DUTIES
- Assessing the cause of the variance to improve forecasting.
- Completing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Meeting with program managers, state directors, and senior directors to review p&L’s and identify discrepancies in line-item spending by digging into receipts and the general ledger to identify concerns.
- Review revenue streams to identify potential discrepancies versus forecasts.
- Ensure accurate reporting for sales use and business property tax reporting.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Solomon or Workday preferred.
- Proficient with Excel, including the ability to do pivot tables preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Previous accounting experience preferred but not required
- CPA preferred
- Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements.
