MW Partners is currently seeking an Accountant to work for our client who is a leader in the media and entertainment industry
Responsibilities and duties:
- Reconcile statements to ledgers for accuracy.
- Reconcile data generated from various systems.
- Prepare contractual accounting statements to talent and producers.
- Adhoc Requests.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance highly.
- Relevant work experience in Entertainment field.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills are required to analyze financial data.
- Proficient in general accounting principles. Must understand and know how to read ledgers.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel (i.e.: create formulas, pivot tables and v-lookups).
- Be able to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
- A self-starter and work independently with minimal supervision.
- 1+ year experience in accounting(mid-level), solid accounting knowledge
- Proficient in accounting principles
- Must know how to read and understand ledgers, MS Excel experience(might be tested by manager on excel as needed)
