Foth is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Accountant who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to work with an amazing team of professionals. This full-time position will be based out of our Green Bay, WI; Madison, WI; Minneapolis, MN; or Marion, MA location.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees Accounting Analysts to ensure proper financial accounting and reporting information is given to Foth Project Managers and client account managers
- Coordinate project information and accurately create projects in ERP system (Deltek Vision)
- Understand client-specific standards and contract expectations for invoicing and contract acceptance
- Lead the project setup and management of federal grant based projects
- Work closely with Business Manager to identify continuous improvement areas
- Work closely with central Finance and Accounting department to insure proper Business Unit financial reporting
- Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP
- Support project managers by monitoring and analyzing project financials
- Proactively work with Foth project team members to insure timely billing and receipt of payments within contract terms
- Approve member expense reports
- Assist with the creation of the marked-up cost estimates for client proposals
- Perform period end processing and financial reporting for the business unit
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or possesses equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience in accounting roles
- Experience utilizing financial formulas and resolving issues within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient with Deltek Vision software
- Skilled in Microsoft project management tools, including SharePoint and MS Project
- Adept at producing and assisting with contract preparation
