Responsibilities:
- Manage core accounting responsibilities including journal entry processing, ledger reconciliation and analysis, and generating regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Review classification of expenses in the general ledger report and prepare necessary adjustments in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Implement process improvements/efficiencies; perform financial analysis
- Communicate and work collaboratively with corporate departments and area operations and administration
- Assist with various audit tasks, including providing support and/or documentation for internal and external audit and various ad-hoc reports as needed
- Identify and help to implement process improvements/efficiencies within the accounting department
- Bachelors degree in accounting or related field is required
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- SAP experience is strongly preferred
- Strong computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and accomplish all assignments timely, independently, and against aggressive deadlines
