Job Details
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Permanent Accountant to join our high-performing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to play a pivotal role in our company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all accounting transactions, including billing, tax forms, reporting, and other necessary calculations.
2. Prepare budget forecasts and manage financial processes.
3. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
4. Perform investment analysis and investment reconciliation on a regular basis.
5. Ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
6. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
7. Audit financial transactions and documents.
8. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
9. Keep abreast with the latest financial and tax laws and regulations.
10. Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process.
11. Collaborate with financial management to optimize financial procedures and systems.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
3. Proven experience in the finance industry, with a focus on investment, investment reconciliation, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial management.
4. Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
5. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel) and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP).
7. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
