Job Description
A great opportunity available for a Full Time Accountant. Responsible for applying the principles of accounting to analyze financial information, distribute expenditures and receipts, maintain records, compile data, and prepare financial reports related to the Southeastern Housing and Community Develoment program. This individual will also work directly with management to identify, integrate, and develop financial and other systems or processes to meet ever-changing needs of the Authority. Graduation from an accredited 2 or 4 year College with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with accounting emphasis or similar field is required. Prior work experience in accounting or finance is desired. Working knowledge or experience in housing operations a plus.
