We are seeking an individual who is passionate, team and detail oriented, and ready to grow their career. This position is responsible for a wide variety of tasks within Corporate Accounting. Responsibilities include Accounts Payable Vendor Management and invoice processing. The position is also responsible for balancing multiple suspense accounts, processing monthly accruals and assisting with Lease Accounting rent oversight. Other responsibilities include processing manual payment runs, contest accounting, assisting with vendor 1099s and monitoring Accounts Payable mailboxes and open items.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze Accounts Payable invoices for coding and proper classification
- Manage and reconcile various suspense accounts
- Manage open accounts payable invoices
- Process 1099s for Accounts Payable vendors
- Maintain the vendor master file
- Prepare monthly accruals
- Monitor monthly budget variance
- Balance and post activity related to incentive contests
- Monitor automated payment runs and process manual runs as needed
- Monitor Accounts Payable mailboxes
- Assist with Lease Accounting and Rent oversight
- Process AP and PO invoices as needed and PO research
What It Takes to Join Our Team:
- College degree (Accounting) or equivalent plus three years of relevant experience required
- CPA designation would be beneficial but not required
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines needed
- Effective problem solving and analytical skills required
- Strong human relations, adaptability and collaboration skills needed
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- SAP experience would be beneficial but not required
