What's a typical day as an Accountant? You'll be:
• Managing fixed assets transactions, including maintaining and improving the CIP subsidiary, managing monthly meetings with the Engineering team, closing out completed projects, assigning tag numbers to new assets, reconciling the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger, calculating and recognizing monthly depreciation, and reviewing and updating the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation.
• Handling technical transfer accounting transactions, including understanding and managing project accounting for technical transfer, reclassifying the def cost to the appropriate account based on revenue transactions, and updating amortization tables.
• Performing revenue reconciliation, including understanding the revenue types applicable to manufacturing sites, performing billing and shipping CSR reconciliation, and conducting monthly revenue reconciliation.
• Assisting with month-end adjustment and accrual entries.
• Conducting account analysis and reporting.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office Suite for various accounting tasks.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Are fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Have strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Are a recent graduate with no experience necessary.
