REMOTE* but looking for Nearby Doral, FL as the candidate will need to travel onsite Once or twice a month.
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Doral, FL 33178 OR REMOTE
Duration: 6 months/ Higher possibilities of getting extended OR FTE
Pay Range : $24- 25/ hr
Job Duties:
Assists in preparing federal, state, or local tax returns and related statements or records. Maintains records of tax filings or payments.
Recommends financial actions that may lessen the organization's tax liability while meeting organizational goals and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.
Researches and suggests responses to changes in tax law, regulations, and guidelines. Assists with audit defense as needed.
Experience and Education: Performs work under general supervision.
Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree, and 2 to 4 years of experience.
Reports to: Reports to a department head or manager.
