What You'll Do
- Manages day-to-day service for clients including customer claims, billing, eligibility, onboard employees in core and voluntary benefits, and service issues.
- Properly sets expectations for issue resolution, monitors progress and communicates outcomes.
- Conducts implementation activities for new and existing clients by attending implementation meeting with Consultant as needed.
- Works with designated Elan Account Manager on the installation of products/plans or applicable renewals.
- Assists in completion and processing of applications.
- In conjunction with the Elan Enrollment Manager and Elan Account Manager, prepares for client open enrollment activities.
- Reports results to Senior Account Executive and Producer.
- Follows agency policies and procedures including but not limited to client files, HIPAA compliance, and delinquent premium notices.
- Updates Agency management system within thirty days after sale or renewal (plan changes, rate acceptance, etc.).
- Participates in special projects/teams.
- Identifies areas to assist team members.
- Assists in workflow review and improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need
- Minimum 2+ years of account management experience in Employee Benefits insurance preferred.
- College degree or experience equivalent required
- Current Florida Life and Health license required; professional designations preferred.
- Working knowledge of available Employee Benefits coverages based on business and industry.
- Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction.
- Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software.
