Motion Automation Intelligence SE is seeking a qualified individual to assist our sales engineering team to expand sales of collaborative robots and robot systems in the Minnesota and Wisconsin markets. This role is a mix of customer facing activities and business development activities and requires strong communication skills as well as technical aptitude. This position fully supports our sales engineers to manage complex sales with C- level clientele. Activities include product demonstration, identifying opportunities, creating proposals, justifying ROI and leveraging our marketing capabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, and sales competencies. Either technical or sales experience in industrial automation required, robotics experience preferred. Candidates must be confident in their ability to identify and understand industrial processes and automated systems and provide feedback to customers.
This position would best be served centrally located near Minneapolis, MN. This would allow the candidate to best serve the geographic area of responsibility as well as to leverage our local facility resources.
Responsibilities:
- Work with sales to identify customer's scope of work
- Assist sales to create proposal(s)
- Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintain satisfaction
- Ensure technical requirements for the customer are met
- Generate new business with new or existing customers through sales calls, customer facing webinars, Seminars, etc.
- Own the relationship with key suppliers
- Create materials for and conduct sales presentations to customers
- Prospect for new customers
- Ensure customer service requirements are met
- Work with Branch Manager to provide business planning to reach product and sales goals
- Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support sales
- Personally accountable for time allocation and priorities to reach goals and applying efforts to high ROI opportunities
Qualifications
- General knowledge of basic mechanics, simple DC circuits, and industrial Sensing/IO
- Familiarity with machine vision, PLC programing, robotic tooling, CNC machining, injection molding, welding, and industrial networking is a plus but not required.
- Ability to solve complex problems independently
- Good customer service and communication skills
