$5000 SIGN ON BONUS
Summary:
The position requires managing and maintaining existing and new accounts by entering and expediting orders, problem-solving, and forecasting inventory requirements to satisfy the customer's business needs. The applicant must pass a pre-employment comprehension test, employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Responsibilities:
. Interact with outside sales, scheduling, production, and materials assignment to proactively address customer requirements.
. Professionally represent the company in daily interactions with key customers.
. Act as a key partner to the outside sales representatives and a valued advisor internally after developing expert knowledge about assigned customers.
. Take ownership of communications both internally and to customers to help build and strengthen relationships that support the Business.
. Be a key driver of just-in-time delivery performance and effective inventory management by monitoring shipments, managing order reports, and proactively addressing issues, including aged inventory.
. Manage pricing changes according to each specific customer program.
. Reconcile customer purchase orders with quotes, ensuring critical accuracy.
. Proactively learn customer order patterns to manage the effects of customer forecasts on the Business.
Requirements:
. A willingness to learn and grow in the steel processing business.
. Excellent written and oral communication.
. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
. Ability to balance the needs of the customer with the capabilities and internal constraints of the company.
. 2-year degree in Business or other related field
. 3-5 years prior Steel Service Center Customer Service/Inside Sales experience is preferred.
The compensation range is from $55,000 to $75,000 plus a bonus.
