The primary function of this position is to manage specific accounts within a brokerage division of Magnum Logistics. You will be the dedicated Account Manager for customer accounts, working closely with carrier sales and customer service specialists.
- Participate in RFPs for assigned accounts, including procuring capacity for new lanes and negotiating rates to offer competitive pricing.
- Frequently contact customers for assigned accounts for additional business and establishing rapport.
- Negotiate rates on existing lanes following current market conditions, utilizing our TMS (TMW Suite), DAT, and other tools to maximize profitability.
- Address and resolve concerns for assigned customers.
- Manageassigned customers according to established yearly goals and divisional budget.
- Communicate with the Logistics team, be coached, and collaborate with a team.
