Account Manager – Plumbing and HVAC Distributor – Total Compensation to 100k/Year – Albany, NY
- Our client, a stable, growing distributor, has an immediate need a Account Manager (internally titled Plumbing and HVACAccount Manager), to handle a territory out of Albany, NY area. Our client has been in business for over 85 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry. The Albany team operates as a tight-knit group, always willing to help each other out, and are looking for someone who operates from a “customer first” mentality in order to fit into this culture.
- In this position, the Account Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with core customers and seeing core customer growth, introducing new products into the existing customer base, and of course, bringing on new customers. The Account Manager will work closely with and answer directly to the company’s Sales Manager in developing and implementing new growth strategies. They will sell to contractors. The ideal candidate will have Plumbing and HVAC knowledge and/or have knowledge of distribution sales.
Qualificationss: The ideal candidate for this position will possess a background in HVAC/Plumbing and/or a strong track record in distribution sales. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. They should possess strong CRM experience and exceptional customer service skills.
Compensation: Our client is offering a solid compensation package for this position, with a base salary up to 70k/year and unlimited commissions which should put you in the 100k range first year.
