This Account Manager Internship will be in partnership with the University of Washington Foster School of Business, and Marketing 496 curriculum. It will run for Spring Quarter 2024 and will be approximately 10- 15 hours per week.
This position will focus on all aspect of the selling process including lead management and generation, qualifying potential sales leads, working with our inside and outside sales teams, experiencing the collaboration of sales and operations in a full-scale manufacturing plant, participating in an industry trade show, learning to use Salesforce software, working on a marketing campaign, customer ride-alongs, and initiating your own sales campaign.
Requirements
REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, or Business Administration at the University of Washington, Foster School of Business, with at least one quarter remaining before graduation.
- Must be enrolled in Marketing 496 for Spring Quarter 2024
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Business acumen for sales and sales operations
- Understanding of concepts of sales negotiations
- Demonstrated examples of excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational and multi-tasking skills

The compensation for this internship is $20-$23 per hour. There is also a possibility that this internship could be extended through the Summer of 2024 with up to 30 hours work per week.
