Job Purpose and Impact
The Account Manager (Open to Remote) will focus on medium to long term planning, face to face selling and building strong customer relationships. In this role, you will be focused on B2B supplement sales, as well as providing services and solutions to new & existing customers. You will build sales plans and diversification strategies to grow and protect business relationships.
Key Accountabilities
- Help identify and lead interactions with new customers to create sales opportunities.
- Participate in resolving problems and ensuring customers receive high quality service.
- With minimal mentorship, develop client growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business partnerships.
- Review and report on customer retention, business opportunities and market trends.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating
- only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of four years of related work experience in sales, account management, business development or related field.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the Animal Nutrition industry, specifically equine market knowledge.
- Previous account management experience.
- Experience working with Salesforce.
Applicant Information
The expected salary for this position is $90,000 to 125,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
